BWE fan letter to Ringo

That post is lolarious. If you are a major Ringo fangirl/boy, don't read it, he craps on Ringo, but it is very funny and pretty true. I love Ringo, and I don't think he was a disposable member of the Beatles, but yeah, his solo work is pretty shitty. The only song that I like of his, It Don't Come Easy, was probably written by George. And the fact that Ringo is saying "No more fanmail!" makes him look like a douche. He could have just said, "I won't be answering every letter I get or signing everything you send!"

We got to San Francisco safely today, and the Beatles panel that we went to was awesome. These Beatles scholars were freaking geniuses and we were just in awe of these people that knew so so much about The Beatles. We wanted to talk to the panelists, but we were just so intimidated by how awesome they were, so we didn't.

I thought I had more to say, but I'm really tired, and we gotta get up at 6:00 tomorrow to get there by 8:00 for the Doctor Who panel. I gotta get some sleep.

So seeing A Hard Day's Night on the big screen made me realize that it is possible for Paul McCartney to be hotter. His hotness/adorableness is multiplied by a gazillion when he's on a giant screen. This is true for all of the boys actually, but Paul especially.

Oh man, during the last few songs when the music was really loud I was practically swooning. Gawd. That movie on the big screen = totally freaking awesome. I have actually seen it before in a theater when I was like, 8, during Sundance, but I don't really remember it. Well, I remember when it started and my entire family started screaming and squeeing. XD Good times. So yeah, seeing it again was really great. :D

In related news, I heard a Beatles song tonight that I never heard before! Haley hadn't heard it before either! I do not remember the last time that happened. I think because of Haley and Jasie I heard every Beatles song multiple times by the time I was 8. Anywho, it's called Love of the Loved and it's on Anthology Plus. So yeah, hearing a new Beatles song was really cool.

Okay so Staci said all I talk about in my LJ is my period. I was planning on not mentioning it this time around, because I find it to be a bit tedious myself, but I decided to say fuck it. It's my Live Journal and I can bitch about my pain if I want to.

( Whining and general misery )

Okay, I'm going to discuss non-pain-related things now. I had Italian and Drawing today. My Italian class is in a small corner of one of the biology buildings and for some reason I had to go through a maze of dark hallways just to find it. So that was like a little adventure. When my professor came to class and discovered that it was a small windowless stuffy room she said she couldn't stay in there and we followed her to the bridge in between the biology buildings and had class there. She's going to change the room so I get to find a different classroom on Wednesday. Anywho, my brain kept on checking out through class and I kept on thinking about various fandom related things like Doctor/Master and Beatles slash. I may have missed a bit of class but my mind was sure entertained!

After Italian I went to the Art building, which was built when the cave look was popular. It's pretty dark and scary. I was an hour early for class so I watched The Last of the Timelords on my MP3 player. It still makes me laugh. Oh man the plot-holes and the floaty Jesus!Doctor always get to me. The scene when the Master died in the Doctor's arms also makes me almost cry. So I guess I gotta take the good with the bad with that episode.

Anywho, after I watched that I went to my Drawing class. I'm looking forward to it. My teacher is a bit of a loon. She's a performance artist and she showed us some pictures of her pieces. It's a bit wacky. I wanted to watch the Art episode of Spaced after class was over. :P

After that class I went to pepperlandgirl4's office and I did most of my Italian homework while I waited for her to get out of class. It was rather productive. I discovered that even though I haven't studied it for a month I remembered mostly everything. :)

Okay so tomorrow I have an American Institutions class and my Gender and Social Change class. I am really looking forward to those. :D Also I don't have to get up at 8:30 tomorrow! WOOO!

I'm really bored so I decided to post all of the Beatles icons I've made since my last icon post. There's 29 of them, they're nothing special, but I like them. :) Please credit me in keywords if you use them. :D
