[Error: unknown template qotd]Sooooo many, but I think this is my favorite one that I never use.
[Error: unknown template qotd]Our brains stop functioning and we begin to decay. Maybe my sense of self-awareness will continue on and just float about in space or go to some sort of heaven or hell, but um, I have my doubts. I want to be shot into space. If not that, I'd be cool with being cremated and having my ashes spread in Oakley where I grew up.
[Error: unknown template qotd]1. America The Book by Jon Stewart and the writers of the Daily Show
2. I Am America and So Can You by Stephen Colbert
3. The Shining by Stephen King
4. Wigfield by Amy Sedaris, Paul Dinello and Stephen Colbert
5. Naked by David Sedaris

Those are all the books that are purely for entertainment and that I know I can read over and over and over again. I do love Mrs. Dalloway and The Divine Comedy but I just don't know if I would want them as my only entertainment on a desert island. Well, maybe the Divine Comedy. Inferno is pretty entertaining. And I know that it would take me a long time to get through Mrs. Dalloway. Heart of Darkness would be good too. A really dense book that involves a lot of thought. Great, now I'm thinking about it. Screw it, the purely for entertainment list will stay!

[Error: unknown template qotd]1. Hot Fuzz
2. The Five Doctors
3. Strangers With Candy (The series)
4. The Royal Tenenbaums
5. Tristram Shandy: A Cock and Bull Story

(I also like [livejournal.com profile] pepperlandgirl4 's list, so hopefully we'll be on the same desert island.)

[Error: unknown template qotd]Jemaine. I'm not sure why, he's just really really attractive to me.  Haley thinks I like him because of the Bowie episode, which is definitely possible.
[Error: unknown template qotd]I want to be cremated and during my funeral/spreading of my ashes I want "In the Aeroplane Over The Sea" to play. I'm not sure where I want my ashes to be spread. From an aeroplane over the sea is not required, but would be nice. All that matters is that I'm cremated and my ashes are spread somewhere. I hate the idea of being buried in the Woodland cemetery (where most of my family on my dad's side is buried). I mean, I know I won't know I'm there, obviously, but I just hate the idea of laying in the same place. I want my body to be immediately part of the earth and not have to decay in a box in the valley where I was born.
[Error: unknown template qotd]Yesterday I described the entire plot of 1408 to someone I was talking to at the LGBT resource center, but I stopped at the very end so he would at least have a bit of a reason to watch it later. I got carried away. :/

God, I am really craving some Ben and Jerry's right now. I'd kill a man for some Half Baked. KILL!

[Error: unknown template qotd]Firefly, Angel, Life On Mars (UK, of course. US version hasn't gotten canceled yet, here's hoping it makes it for a few seasons), and Strangers With Candy. I've accepted that they're done, and I don't expect them to come back, but I still miss them. I just really want John Simm to make an appearance or two on Ashes to Ashes. EDIT: Oh! I forgot about Arrested Development! Dur! I miss that and I'm not completely over it.
[Error: unknown template qotd]1. Magical Mystery Tour - The Beatles
2. In the Aeroplane, Over the Sea - Neutral Milk Hotel
3. Funeral - Arcade Fire
4. The Man Who - Travis
5. Fox Confessor Brings The Flood - Neko Case
6. A Ghost Is Born - Wilco
7. Graceland - Paul Simon
8. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
9. Boxer - The National
10. Picaresque - The Decemberists

And like all of my all-time lists, this will be subject to change depending on my mood. Except for the top 3. Those will most likely stay where they are.

[Error: unknown template qotd]No, God planned that shit! It's how he kills time. Coordinating birthdays.
[Error: unknown template qotd]Soooo many different TV couples to choose from. So many awesome/hot/funny/fucked up relationships from so many different shows. But, there can only be one!

Three finalists: Kirk/Spock, House/Wilson, and Spike/Buffy.

Now, I'm considering House/Wilson because omg last night's episode. I am still squeeing over it. I loved it, and I love those two and just how awesome, hilarious, and fucked up they are. And I love how they can pretty much be described as a TV couple now.

Spike/Buffy because they were my first major ship, and I still love them in a big big way, even though it was the most frustrating ship ever. My biggest TV wish is still that those two reunite. I know it will never happen, but man oh man I want a big ol' Spuffy reunion complete with yelling, hitting, hilarious misunderstandings, angst, and hotness. I want that more than I want John Simm to play Sam Tyler again and more than I want John Simm to come back to Doctor Who, and those are some major TV wishes of mine.

Kirk/Spock is the epitomy of the perfect tv couple. They trust each other no matter what, they love each other, and they're really hot together in the TV series and really adorable in the movies. You know, I think Kirk/Spock wins this. They're the TV couple that makes me grin stupidly because of how great they are, they win.  Man, you know what was awesome? When Spock thought he killed Kirk in Amok Time, and then Kirk walked swaggered into the room, and Spock was like, ":DDDDDDD Jim!" Good times.

(Honorable mentions: Sam/Gene, Chuck/Geoffrey, Spike/Angel, and Mulder/Scully)
