Weird

Today I went to Dee's with Kiry for breakfast. I don't really like Dee's that much. I'd rather go to a Villlage Inn or Denny's, but whatever, the biscuits and gravy were pretty good. Anyway, we were chilling out and talking, and I look out the window and I see President Monson walking up to the restaurant with his wife.

Kiry is still very much active in the church, so when she realized that President Monson was going to be in the same place as her, she started freaking out like a fangirl. Anyway, she wanted to meet him, so after we paid for our breakfast we went up to him, and Kiry got all scared and nervous, so I ended up talking to him and I apologized for interupting his breakfast and we introduced ourselves and he was nice and wished us a merry christmas. The whole thing was just very weird to me.

He is basically a nice old grandpa, but he's the leader of the church she wholeheartedly believes in and to her he's the prophet of God, so meeting him was a bit of a big deal for her.

Hahaha! I have been telling you guys forever that Dee's is the best place to eat! How long have I told you guys that? How long? When are you just going to trust me? Hahaha! Good ol'Kiry! So you're in Kamas!? I will be tonight also! I'm going to call you, you can't stop this! I should be home around 8ish so beware and have your phone on sucker!
