I went and saw Tropic Thunder tonight, and it was so so hilarious.

I loved everybody in it, including Matthew McConaughey, and I tend to hate him in every movie he's in (except for Dazed and Confused). Also, Tom Cruise was hilarious and I hope he sent Ben Stiller an impressive gift basket for saving his image with that movie.

Steve Coogan was fantastic, for the small amount of time he was in the movie. His monologue was made of awesome. "I AM JESUS CHRIST!" Also, seeing him reminded me of Hamlet 2, and omg I am so excited for that movie! I hope it's good.

Robert Downey Jr. was awesome, like he is in every movie he's ever been in ever. I love how his Australian accent was basically Russell Crowe. Jack Black was hilarious, which pleased me because he's really a hit and miss for me most of the time. I loved Jay Baruchel so much! I'm so glad that he still gets roles. I loved him in Undeclared (and Popular Mechanics For Kids He was so good in Tropic Thunder, he and Brandon Jackson were the perfect straight men surrounded by a bunch of baffoons. Well, they were both funny, but they were the ones with the most sense in the group.

The lack of the Wilson brothers in this Ben Stiller movie was disturbing. I didn't think about it until after the movie, but where were Owen or Luke?

Really, nothing about that movie bugged me. I loved it from start to finish.

I saw it the other night too, but we got there so late I missed like the first half. I didnt want to love it, but I was laughing the whole time. I might have to go see it again so I can see the beginning. I also noticed the lack of Wilson brothers especially because Amanda kept thinking Matthew Machonaughey was Owen Wilson. And Tom Cruise cracked my shit up. Yeah...didnt want to love it, but couldnt help it...
