Complaint about an anti-English slur in tonight's DW
I am incredibly amused by the fact that while I was reading this, the voice my mind was reading it in had a very snooty English accent. I didn't even realize it until I got towards the end of it. It reminds me of those letters in Flying Circus and it seems like it should have ended with:
"Yours faithfully, Brigadier Sir Charles Arthur Strong (Mrs).
P.S. I have never kissed the editor of the Radio Times."

I did not remotely see that as an anti-English thing. I saw it as a "People suck hardcore" thing.
Exactly! I think it's crazy how that person just assumed that it was an insult towards the English. It might have been a racist comment if they said, "England for the English, but the Scots and the Welsh sure are welcoming!"
I like how some of their evidence is the fact that it's BBC Wales and that Tennant is Scottish. Well, obviously they hate the English because it's BBC Wales and there's a Scot, ffs!
Also, I can't believe this comment isn't a joke:
"Celtic treachery is there no end, surely the producer has to answer, for this blatant racism, along with the BBC Wales, should not a letter & a clip of the film be forwarded,to Trevour Philips & co ?"
Celtic treachery is there no end?! Do people seriously talk like that?
