Today I hung out with Staci, Dalton and Kiry. This morning I went to Wal-Mart with Staci so she could buy a new camera, she got a very nice one. Then we went to her house and made lemon-raspberry thumb-print cookies and OMG they were so so delicious. Then we went to the park in Peoa. The park in Peoa is pretty unkempt, it has a really an old swing set, a few over-sized tires to climb, some old monkey bars and a torn up basketball court. We had fun though, Dalton brought his dirt bike so we rode around the park on it. When I rode it, I kind of um, tipped it over. I hit the hand brake too hard and it lurched forward and then I lost balance and tipped over. I wasn't hurt, (except for a bruise on my thigh) and it was actually quite hilarious. Staci captured this little moment on her new camera, so there's video of it. Hopefully she'll upload it and you'll all get to see me topple over like an idiot. I rode it again, and it was a bit more successful. I rode around longer before the bike tipped over. :P

After hanging out at the park for a few hours we went back to Staci's sat around for awhile, and then we went out for pizza before going to the play at the high school. Even though I vowed to myself last year that I would never sit through another high school play again, I wanted to see some old teachers and friends, so I went. The play was bad, which was expected, but I am glad that I went. I didn't really pay attention to the play because I was talking to Staci and Dalton for most of the time, so that was entertaining. During intermission I saw my old Academic Decathlon coach, I thought she never liked me, so I didn't expect that she would be so happy to see me, but she was, so I'm glad I got to see her. Apparently the AcaDec team did well at State this year, so I was really happy to hear that. I also saw Mr. Draper, and I really missed him this year, he was my favorite teacher, and I was glad to see him. I saw a lot of people who I haven't seen since I graduated, and even though I saw a few people who I was glad to get away from when I graduated, it was nice to see most of them.

I saw my friend Chuy! I missed that boy so much! I didn't realize how much I missed him until I saw him tonight. We're neighbors, and since he moved into the subdivision we have said every summer, "We have to hang out this summer! We live so close!" and what happens every summer? We see each other once, maybe twice. That is not going to happen this year! I'm going to call him this weekend and hang out.
