The new Entertainment Weekly cover! Eeeee! Zachary Quito and Chris Pine are so hot. I was worried about Chris Pine's ability to play Kirk, but damn, he can do a standing swagger! And omg that one picture where Spock is choking Kirk, omg I died, so hot.

I really hope the movie brings some good slash writers into the fandom, because god damn those two are hot. I don't even care if the plot sucks. I get two hot guys playing Kirk and Spock, and Simon Pegg is playing Scotty. It. will. be. awesome.

In other non-squee news: I went to San Francisco today with Haley, and we decided to just go to Pier 39 for a few hours and do the touristy thing. We only got lost a little bit getting there, and good times were had. We went to the aquarium and looked at some fish, and pet a leopard shark. We ate at Neptune's Palace and had a great view of the bay and some delicious food, we took some pictures of the sea lions, the bay, and the city, and we spent $45 on candy. Yeah. We were literally like kids in a candy store. We got a big bag of salt water taffy, some lollipops, and some chocolate. I also bought a wallet and Haley bought a new purse and a Tombstone poster. It was a lot of fun, I'm glad we went. Now, unfortunately, I have a terrible headache and I think I need a nap.
