I went to the Utah State Fair tonight with Flora, Staci and Staci's friend Jake. I had SO much fun. Those three people are just so much fun to be around and it was just great.
I know it was just a state fair, but I haven't been to a fair for about 7 or 8 years and they can be so much fun. We got a pass for the rides and we went on the thingy that spins so fast that you stick to the walls, 3 times, the Tilt-a-wirl, 2 fun houses, something called the Tornado which spun you around and threw you into the air, and the Ferris wheel. The ferris wheel was the scariest for me because I can handle being high up if it's at high speeds so I can't actually see the ground. Sitting up in the air while my seat rocked freaked me the fuck out. I actually would have been fine with the height if I didn't feel like I could rock backwards and just topple out.
Everyone was very amused with my reactions on the rides, anything slightly scary/fast makes me scream, so my terrified scream and my 'omg this is so much fun!'-scream amused everybody. Especially on the Tornado, it was so much fun and when I would look at Flora and scream I looked crazy because I had blue teeth from a snow cone. I made her laugh so hard she cried. XD
We also looked at some animals, like the pigeons, the goats, the cows and the rabbits. Some were cute, and some were just crazy stinky. I was going to look at the sheep, but when I walked into the room I was hit by this wall of smell that was just appalling. The goats were cute, they enjoyed being pet and they all thought Staci's hand was delicious.
I got a pair of sunglasses, I wasn't planning on buying anything, but the frames looked good on my face and I had been looking for sea-foam sunglasses for two years, so had no choice but to get them.
I got some nice pictures of the fair that I'll post later, when I'm not so tired and when I don't have Anthropology stuff to read.
