So I was at the grocery store yesterday looking for a women's multivitamin that I could afford. I ran out of vitamins and I just wanted a women's multivitamin so I could get everything I need and some iron and calcium. An employee came up and asked if she could help and I was wondering where the generic one-a-day vitamins are, and then a pitch began. She started saying that those kind of vitamins are actually bad for you and do not contain half of what they say they do. And then she brought out the bullshit word that made her lose all credibility.

Toxins.

Apparently those multivitamins contain some of what they say they do, and a buttload of toxins that can make you ill. Which as we all know, is the biggest scam word ever. "Why should I use this?" "It gets rid of toxins!" "What the fuck are toxins?" "BAD THINGS!" "Like what?" "VERY BAD THINGS! That make you sick!" "You want to elaborate?" "TOXINS! IT'S A SCARY WORD! OOGA BOOGA BOOGA!"

Anywho, I fell for the scam because she knocked ten dollars off the price and I just wanted to get some vitamins and go home.

And that was today's boring anecdote from Lindy's life. :)
