The Summer 08 Concerts Mega Picspam Extravaganza!
Concerts this summer: Wilco and Retribution Gospel Choir, Tilly and the Wall and some local bands, Andrew Bird and Josh Ritter, Wilco and Fleet Foxes (x2), and Neko Case and The Crooked Fingers. I didn't take any pictures at the first Wilco concert or at the second Wilco concert, but I do have a lot of pics, audio and video from the third one, woo! I need to make the audio and the video prettier, but I'll hopefully post them soon.
Tilly and the Wall
This is the one picture I got of one of the opening acts, and I don't remember what they were called, but they were good!
Andrew Bird and Josh Ritter
This is when Josh Ritter was doing the sound check and stuff. I think this was when the crazy old hippie started yelling at him and saying, "I love you guys, man!" and Josh was like, "Well, thanks! :DDD"
That man is such an adorable spaz on stage.
These three pics were taken when they were working out the technical stuff, of which there was a lot, because there is a shit load of things that he has to do while he's playing.

Wilco and Fleet Foxes
The only pictures I took of the Fleet Foxes. I think they're a good band live, they're funny and I like them, but I'm not that into their music. I dunno why.

Those are the dolls on Nels' amps.
You can see Glenn in this pic! Really the only pic of him that I could get.
It was difficult to get good pictures of them because of the stage lighting. I couldn't get any good ones of Pat because he was always in front of bright lights. I couldn't get a good picture of Glenn because he was behind his drums and behind John and we couldn't see him at all from where we were standing. I'm going to try to cap some of the videos that I took because I'm fairly certain that I got some great footage of Pat.
Neko Case and Crooked Fingers
Here's the only really good pic I got of Crooked Fingers.

Here's a pic of the slide guitarist/banjo player, he was awesome. And on the right, there's the other guitarist. He started the show with some Coronas lined up next to him, whicn you can see next to the banjo, and he just knocked them back through the show. XD
