Tonight [livejournal.com profile] pepperlandgirl4, [livejournal.com profile] slacker_97, and I took our grandparents out to dinner for a belated birthday dinner for my grandma. We went to Tucanoes aka: The Happiest Place On Earth and it was delicious. I ate a salad and a looooooot of meat. And then, I was really bad and I had a slice of cheesecake. I don't regret it! It was delicious! I was really glad to eat with grandma and grandpa, I love those two, they're funny and fun to hang out with.

One of the servers kept on flirting with [livejournal.com profile] slacker_97. My grandparents kept on telling me to see if the server was married, but I think he only had eyes for Jaime. Jaime attracts all of the guys, they like him. Haley encourages him to just go with it but he has low self-esteem and doesn't know how to flirt back. Here's a little excerpt from his flirtation with the hoooot server:

"You went down far enough." (in reference to slicing the meat off of the skewer)

"Oh really? Because I was planning on going down further."

HEY-O!

[livejournal.com profile] agnespennyworth is in NYC for the week, and tonight she went and saw Equus, and got stage seats. I do not know why. I'm not sure if she knew what she was getting into. She sent me three texts:

Text 1: "Ewww"

Text 2: "Little. Gross."

Text 3: "Scrotum"

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my entire life. And now she will be haunted forever with the image of Daniel Radcliffe's junk, in her face.

I stayed with Jasie for the weekend, and she's much better. Her face is pretty much completely healed, but her chest and arm are still kind of bad, but they should heal up in the next week or two. I had a lot of fun with her this weekend, we watched TV, carved pumpkins, and went to the farmers market. Good times. :D My pumpkins are pretty bitchin'. I carved a white one and it's pretty creepy. I was going for a ghost, but it kind of looks like the dead baby from Trainspotting. I also carved the Batman logo into a regular orange pumpkin, which is quite impressive for me since I have uncoordinated retarded hands. I took some pictures that I'll post soon.

My mom took me back to Salt Lake today and she brought her new maltese puppy. That dog is the cutest damn thing in the entire world. Her name is Jackie Brown and she is just so adorable and cuddly. She's so small and energetic. Today she ran around a lot and chased me around the yard. Afterwards she was pretty exhausted, and on the ride to Salt Lake she passed out on my lap for the entire trip. There is nothing better than an exhausted puppy in your lap that only wakes up to get you to start petting it again. I miss that dog already. I want to steal her from my mom.

  • I know, my subject line is lame.

  • My weekend was pretty good. I hung out with Jasie in Provo for the whole weekend and it was lovely. We watched zombie movies on Friday which was pretty fun, except there were two guys there who would not shut the fuck up during Diary of The Dead. Saturday we went to Ikea and Wal-Mart with Jasie's friend, which was more fun than it sounds. And on Saturday night we went to a party and watched Pee Wee's Big Adventure in someone's back yard on a projector. I won a Pee-Wee button in a trivia game because I knew that Laurence Fishburne played the cowboy on Pee-Wee's Playhouse. And on Sunday we went to church (I nearly fell asleep multiple times) and after that we went on a picnic. Sunday was the nicest day ever and the picnic was fantastic. When I got back to Kamas I hung out with Dalton and some of his friends last night, which was a lot of fun. :)

  • I completely failed with the week of photos meme.

  • I don't think I've mentioned this before, but I love Top Gear. When I realized that it would be on tonight I practically squeed.

  • I also love Weeds. Man, that's an awesome show. And I have such a crush on Mary-Louise Parker and Justin Kirk.

  • And apparently that's all I've wanted to talk about. It seems like the bullets weren't necessary.

gigglestheblood: (Life On Mars Sam and Gene)

I saw the US Life On Mars trailer, and that was just wrong wasn't it? I wasn't too worried about the remake, because I figured if they used the premise in a new way, a good series could be made, but wow, that was painful. The guy who plays Sam is really wooden, and hearing him say John Simm's lines was weirdly unsettling. I usually like the guy who is playing Gene in this version, but I don't think he really works as Gene. I don't like that they're using the same/very similar script, but I expected it. Most remakes use the same script for the pilot. So, I'm not going to watch the first episode, but I'll probably watch the second episode if it's different from the original script. And if I can sit through that guy's acting.

Today I went over to my grandpa's house to set up his brand new computer. He got a HP desktop with 3.00 GB of RAM, a 280 GB hard drive and a DVD burner, that cost $1000 with the pretty LCD monitor. You know what he'll use it for? Email and reading the news. I guess when he bought the computer a salesman convinced him to buy that model, even though he couldn't really afford it and he didn't even need it. It pissed me off, but oh well, at least he has a good computer now. He had to get a new computer because he opened up an email he shouldn't have and got a virus that pretty much destroyed his computer. So today I set up a gmail account for him and I installed AVG, and he's learned his lesson about strange emails, so hopefully his new computer will last him longer. He's had a computer since I was little, but he's never really gotten a hang of it, I thought that maybe a Mac would be better for him, but I doubt that he would be able to get the hang of a whole new operating system when he's barely getting the hang of Windows after 10+ years.
